Warm Wishes from Mini Santa Card

Hi everyone! :o)

Today I want to share with you couple of Christmas cards I made this week. I'll be sharing them separately. :o)

First up is this Warm Wishes from Mini Santa Card.

All elements (except light gray enamel stickers) on this card are from an awesome Create a Smile 'Snow Dance' kit. Love this little super cute Santa!!! :o)

Image is paper pieced. I used 5 stamped images, 3 stamped on a watercolor paper and two on a designer paper from the kit. I colored Santa's face with colored pencils and shaded his beard with light gray colored pencil. I used dry paper stump to blend colors in to paper. I shaded his outfit with dark red Stabilo pen and colored his boots with black permanent pen. After coloring and shading, I fussy cut parts I needed, colored edges with black Stabilo pen, softened all pieces with a stylus ball on a soft working mat, glued all pieces together and added final touches with a white pen.

Then I glued a designer paper panel on a white card base, glued wood chip sentiment on the panel, glued 3-D foam pads behind Santa and placed him on the card. At the end, I glued enamel stickers in the center of snowflakes and my card was finished. :o)
